Is it weird for a non-Persian American to be really interested in Persian history?

I’ve got about six books I want to read, ranging from the B.C. times to the current, including biographies of various monarchs.

Are there any others interested in Persian history?

Not at all!

It’s great that you’ve found a country and historical period that interests you. Just pursue your passion. Your ethnicity has nothing to do with it.

I don’t have any specific interest in Persian history, but I find Japanese history and the Roman Empire to be very fascinating. I’m an American, not Japanese or Italian.

I'm from Persia!

Nope, since Persian history is full of ups and downs, it is definitely interesting to study. Good luck!

Yes, of course it is weird. White people are the devil and barbarians too. You have no culture. How would you understand what good is? I hope you gain whatever you can about the majesty of persian culture and inform your disgusting race about how to advance. The best part of persian culture is definitely the poetry which is second to none. You must learn persian and medieval persian to read it.
